Bring your own air rifle

Rifle specifications and conditions:

Under 12ft.lb

• Your rifle must be sub 12ft.lb and for pistols: sub 6ft.lb. Your gun will be chronographed with the ammunition you’ll be using before shooting.

Over 12ft.lb

• If your gun is over 12ft.lb and you do not have the appropriate authority your gun will be confiscated and the police called. If you’d like to bring along an FAC air rifle please call first as you will not be allowed to shoot if you just turn up with it.

In advance

• Please read the current legislation about firearms in the UK.
• Have a read of the air gunners code of practice.

On the day

• Proof of age, minimum age of 10 years. Anyone under 18 must be supervised by a person 21 years or over.
• Photo ID and proof of address – examples include a household utility bill, bank statement, driving license, passport or similar.
• You will be asked to sign a Declaration Under Section 21 of The Firearms Act 1968 before shooting.
• We can give you an air fill, but please bring along your adapter, or you’re welcome to bring along you own air.
• A photograph of you will be taken when you arrive and stored on file. CCTV is running throughout the day at the range.
• Go Wild reserves the right to: Call the police, instruct the person/persons to leave Go Wild, cancel membership without any refunds if: any misuse of the range occurs, dangerous behaviour or anything the range officer deems not acceptable and puts the safety of others in danger.
